Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for using Val's Cleaning Maids’ services. By scheduling services with us, you agree to abide by these terms.

2. Services Provided

Val's Cleaning Maids provides a variety of cleaning services for residential properties. The specific tasks and schedule will be determined based on the service plan selected at booking. Any changes to the agreed services should be confirmed in writing.

3. Service Access and Requirements

Clients must provide access to the property during the agreed cleaning schedule. This includes ensuring entry keys, alarm codes, or access permissions are granted if the client is not present. Failure to provide access may incur a rescheduling fee.

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of each cleaning session unless a different arrangement has been made.
  • Accepted payment methods include credit card, debit card, or bank transfer. Invoices will be provided upon request.
  • Late payments may incur a penalty fee of 5% of the outstanding balance per month.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

Val's Cleaning Maids requires a minimum of 72 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling of cleaning appointments to avoid fees. This advance notice allows us to adjust schedules and minimize disruptions to our service team and other clients.

  • 72-Hour Notice Requirement: Cancellations or rescheduling requests made at least 72 hours in advance incur no fees.
  • Late Cancellations: Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled appointment will incur up to a 50% service fee to cover the last-minute opening in our schedule.
  • Access Issues: If our cleaning staff cannot access the property due to lockout or denied access, a 50% fee will also apply.

6. Liability and Damages

  • Val's Cleaning Maids takes reasonable precautions to avoid damage to clients' property. In the rare event of accidental damage, clients must notify us within 24 hours for claims to be valid.
  • Val's Cleaning Maids is not liable for pre-existing conditions, damage from faulty or ill-maintained items, or damage to non-standard items (e.g., delicate decor or fragile surfaces) not communicated to us before service.

7. Use of Cleaning Supplies and Equipment

All cleaning supplies and equipment will be provided by Val's Cleaning Maids unless specified otherwise by the client. If clients request specific products, it is their responsibility to supply them, and Val's Cleaning Maids is not liable for any adverse effects resulting from their use.

8. Satisfaction Guarantee and Feedback

We strive to provide quality service and offer a satisfaction guarantee. If any aspect of our service does not meet expectations, clients should notify us within 24 hours to arrange a re-clean of the unsatisfactory areas at no additional cost.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement with written notice. If termination occurs mid-service term, Val's Cleaning Maids will only bill for services rendered up to the termination date.

10. Privacy Policy

All personal information collected from clients will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.

11. Amendments to Terms

Val's Cleaning Maids reserves the right to update or change these terms at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes via email or through our website.
